- Digital venture
- On this site: a packaged digital operating system you run in a territory β processes, tools and support β not a course, not an idea-stage startup.
- Exploitation licence
- Contractual right to use the system and brand within a defined scope β legally distinct from a classic franchise, depending on how it is drafted.
- Royalties
- Recurring amounts, often a percentage of revenue, in exchange for using the system and receiving support.
- Revenue
- Total sales recorded over a period, before expenses. It is not net profit.
- Exploitation
- Running the business in your territory day to day: clients, revenue, and execution against the playbook.
- Scope
- Geographic area (city, region, etc.) and/or set of niches where your exploitation rights apply.
- Niche
- A specific market segment (client type, offer or need) you focus the activity on.
- Segment
- Commercial unit offered: one packaged model with a defined scope (territory / niches) and investment level.
- Marketplace
- Area where sellers and buyers meet to transfer an exploitation or a licence, under the rules shown for each listing.
- Franchise
- Model where a franchisor often imposes a brand, strict standards and fees, with specific legal rules. Here the approach differs (licence / services).
